Mrs. Ralph Wise [Sarah Ethel Berry] planned and carried out a delightful birthday surprise at her home on Chestnut Street, honoring her sister, Mrs. James Chamberlin, Beeler, Kansas, who accompanied her mother, Mrs. Margaret Berry, home for a visit.

Those enjoying the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Berry and children, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Berry and children, Mrs. George Layton and daughter, Lillian May, Mrs. Leroy Layton, Mr. and Mrs. James Berry, all of Coshocton, Mrs. John Latham and son, Kenneth, Mrs. Guy Latham and children, all of Canton, Mrs. Margaret Berry, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wise and children and the guest of honor.

Mrs. Chamberlin was formerly Ada Berry of Coshocton. She was presented with many beautiful gifts. Music was the diversion of the evening, and at a late hour luncheon was served.
