Harold V. Maurer
SUGARCREEK - Harold V. Maurer, 53, of 203 S. Broadway,
Sugarcreek, was found dead in the residence by his wife, Mrs. Ina Kinsey
Maurer, at 4:30 a.m. today. Tuscarawas County Coroner Philip Doughten
has ruled the death apparently was caused by a heart ailment.
Mr. Maurer was employed by Nickel Plate Road the
last 31 years. He was born in New Philadelphia and resided here 24
years. He was a member of Evangelical & Reformed Church here.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by his
mother, Mrs. Catherine Maurer of Baltic; five sisters, Mrs. Charles
Eiler of Baltic, Mrs. Wade Harrold of Dover, Mrs. Robert Markley of New
Philadelphia, and Mrs., Cameron Stone and Mrs. Leroy Hill of Canton, and
four brothers, Edwin of Dover, Wilbert of Zanesville, Lloyd of Newcomerstown
and Alvin of Baltic.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. (EST) at
the Lingler Funeral Home here with the Rev. E. Harold Klingel officiating.
Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery in Shanesville,
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. |
