Lloyd Vernon Maurer
Newcomerstown News, October 14, 1969

NEWCOMERSTOWN - Lloyd Maurer, 58, of 516 North Cross Street died early this morning in his home after a year's illness.  Born at Baltic [OH], he was a son of the late John and Catherine Maurer.  He was a 29-year employee [retired] of Heller Tool Company. 

Surviving are his widow, the former Olive McKibbon [married October 14, 1957]; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lorin (Virginia) Wise and Gwen Maurer of here;  a step-son, C.W. McKibbon of Cadiz; 5 sisters, Mrs. Beulah Eiler of Baltic, Mrs. Selma Harrold of Dover, Mrs. Mildred Markley of New Philadelphia and Mrs. Goldie Hill and Mrs. Dorothy Stone of Canton;  2 brothers, Edwin of Dover and Wilbur of Mansfield;  4 grandchildren, and 3 step grandchildren.  Two brothers are deceased. 

Services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Addy Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Kidwell officiating.  Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
