Wilbert Maurer
Wilbert J. Maurer, 85, formerly of Baltic, died
April 18 in Providence Hospital at Sandusky, Ohio after an extended illness.
Born July 15, 1907 in Tuscarawas County, he was
the son of the late John and Catherine Snyder Maurer.
He was an Army veteran of World War II having
served in the South Pacific.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Markley
of Dover and Mrs. Goldie Hill of Canton; one brother, Edwin Maurer
of Bellflower, California; several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Smith
Funeral Home at Baltic. Rev. David Hammel will officiate. Burial
will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Baltic. Friends may call Wednesday
from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
