Susan Wade

NEWCOMERSTOWN - Mrs. Bernard K. (Susan Wise) Wade, 72, of RD 2, Tippecanoe, died Sunday in Guernsey Memorial Hospital at Cambridge following a long illness.

Born in Coshocton County, she was a daughter of the late George and Lucy Deeds Renner.  She attended the Church of God here.  In 1932, she married Elmer H. Wise, who died August 28, 1964.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Bernard K. Wdae, whom she married July 25, 1970;  three daughters, Jean Hill and Mrs. Kenneth (Sarah) Marple of RD 3 and Mrs. Clyde (Gladys) Casteel of here;  three stepchildren, Roscoe Wade of Columbus, Mary Davison of Whitehall and Shirley Manning of London, Ohio;  a sister, Mrs. Charles (Dolly) Berg of here;  17 grandchildren;  and eight great-grandchildren.  A son, three brothers and three sisters are deceased.

Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Addy Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Shugars officiating.  Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
