Newcomerstown Man Dies Wednesday of Pneumonia
Obituary, April, 1924
Newcomerstown, April 3. - J.L. Wise, 45, died
Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at his home corner of State and College
Streets of pneumonia. Mr. Wise had been ill with asthma for the past
several years. He was born and spent his entire life in Newcomerstown.
Mr. Wise up to the time of his death was employed
as machinist at the Clow Manufacturing Company, which position he had held
since the company was organized 27 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Augusta, four sons,
Ralph, Francis, Elmer, and Lorin, all at home; three daughters, Mrs.
Nora Butler, Coshocton, and Pearl and Laura, at home; one brother,
Frank, residing at Newcomerstown, and one sister, Mrs. Cora Hines, Portland,
Oregon.
Funeral services will be held at the residence
Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
Burial will be made in the Newcomerstown cemetery. |
