Bonnie’s Flowers Opens
in the Ritz
Theatre Building
January 30, 1967 –
A
former Newcomerstown resident, Mrs. Fred Bonnell Daugherty,
will open a flower shop February 03, 1967 at 108 Bridge
Street in the Ritz Theatre building.
Featuring permanent flowers for all occasions, the shop will
be known as Bonnie’s Flowers. Mrs. Daugherty said most of
the flowers to be used here are made in Italy, France, Spain
and Portugal. Some come from Hong Kong. Available will be
all hinds of arrangements, hanging baskets, planters, dried
material, and rental bouquets for weddings and other
occasions.
A graduate of Newcomerstown High School, Mrs. Daugherty
recently moved here from Winston, Oregon where she had a
flower shop.
